I just came across this interesting image from the Conference of Birds fashion show for the Men’s Fall/Winter 09 collection. The trend in black really stood out to me, as it always seems to make such a bold statement. It’s fascinating how designers can take something classic like black and still create fresh looks that feel modern and edgy.
Unfortunately, I’m at the first page of the lookbook, and I can already tell there’s so much more to explore. I clicked on the image hoping to see more detailed shots, but I guess I’ll have to click through the pages to get the full story. I wish the navigation was a bit smoother—I almost feel like I’m paging through an old-school photo album instead of scrolling through digital content. Still, I’m curious about what else they’ve got in store for the season.
Looking at this picture makes me wonder how they balanced the use of black with other colors. I bet there are some striking contrasts or maybe even some metallic accents hidden in the later pages.
