There are three main methods of measuring the degree of moisture absorption of a terry fabric.
First, the capillary effect measurement method

Third, the moisture absorption rate measurement method
This method of measurement is also simple and feasible. The towel fabric of 10cm×10cm will be weighed first when it is 8% of the specified moisture regain. After being folded flat, it will be put into the water. After 1min, weigh the weight and calculate the ratio of the two. In percentage, it is the product. Moisture absorption rate.
