Kobilevi is an Israeli shoe designer. His shoes are very similar to sculpture art. Each shoe is designed by Levi himself and done manually in the workroom. Here we introduce some of his recently designed works, which cover many topics, including rubber, ducks, Madonna and so on.
"Slides"
The inspiration comes from the fact that when women wear high-heeled shoes, there is always a tendency for the feet to slide in front of the shoes. This half-joker design uses red, yellow and blue primary colors and slides as the basic design elements of the shoes, with the ladder as the heel of the high-heeled shoes.
"market"
Using a traditional basket as a prototype, the shoe's shape is designed as a simple and easy to wear slippers.
"banana"
To unify the shoe and banana skin, the two things that should not be combined together, into one design. The designer designed a pair of slippers in the shape of a peeled banana. The soles and heels are made of an aluminum material.
"coffee"
Available in black and white, the shoes are designed in the shape of a decanter. The black coffee flowing out of the shoe is designed as a thin heel, as if it were a liquid poured from a container.
"Gold ambition"
It symbolizes the 90-year-old superstar Madonna. Her iconic jean-paul gaultier corset is designed as the front half of the shoe, while her golden ponytail is designed as a heel ornament. Lifelike blond hair is a real human hair collected from a nearby hair salon.
"Bird series"
Some iconic birds are designed as prototypes, such as mallards or swans, and their image is designed as shoes.
"mother and daughter"
Designed by the Hong Kong AMP Mall, this shoe will be used to participate in the May 2011 Mother’s Day thematic exhibition. This shoe represents the relationship between parents and children. Larger shoes cover smaller ones, but at the same time they support each other and nestle together.
